Founded in 2020 during the pandemic, Owner Tobey Vanorsdell had the idea to create a safe and comfortable space for clients. Freshie is a boutique hair salon in South End’s SoWa neighborhood. Stylists at Freshie believe everyone can have the hair color of their dreams and invite you to dream big too.
Our Policies
Cancellations
Freshie Salon requires 72 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. If 72 hours notice is not given for a cancellation, the reserved card will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. No shows will be charge 100% of the service. Please understand that our time is valuable, as is yours so let's work together to make the most of it.
Adjustments
If you notice anything you need adjusted with your haircut or color please call the salon within 2 weeks of your service. Our goal is to make sure you are 100% in LOVE with your hair and our team will be happy to make tweaks and adjustments within 2 weeks or less of your previous appointment.
If the look you are going after cannot be achieved in one session, your stylist will communicate this in the consultation and work with you to determine the best path.
Appointments
Appointments only. No walk-in’s will be accepted.
We will text & confirm your service appointment 3 business days prior to your appointment date. If we are unable to reach you and can only leave a message, understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid missed appointments and the cancellation fee.
Deposits
The reserved card will be charged 50% of the scheduled service at the time of booking for corrective colors and extension services.
Refunds
Freshie Salon does not offer refunds of any kind. If you are unhappy with your service please call the salon and our team will be more than happy to discuss correction options.
Products purchased within salon may be exchanged up to 2 weeks after purchase.
COVID
Please come to your appointment with a mask around your ears and wash your hands upon arrival. You can come to the door at your appointment time and we will let you in when we are ready. Temperatures will be taken upon arrival. Disposable masks will be provided for color services. The salon is equipped with an eHEPA air filtration system and operable windows.
For the safety of our staff and clients, only 4 people will be in the salon at a time. No additional guests or children will be allowed during service.
